Mumbai Meri Jaan

People in Mumbai are proud of this city and very proudly chant that its “Amchi Mumbai “ …
Really its amchi Mumbai ..bole to hamaari Mumbai …
Earlier this phrase signified the indomitable and undying spirit of mumbaikars in dealing with the problems and in nurturing the city. However now the situation is somewhat different. I must say Its still amchi Mumbai but this claim is being taken in wrong ways . Sometimes it appears that “BHAI LOG “ owns this place and sometimes I feel its MNS’ Mumbai …..but I was proved wrong .. Apart from these 2 grps there is another group who has taken shelter in this benevolent city… and every now then this group is taking Mumbai City under their directions and control . ..yess its terrorist groups…its all on their wish when they decide to attack and put the entire Mumbai dance to their tunes…It seems there are two kinds of terrorist here---internal terrorism being led by RajThakrey and Bhai log and External terrorism led by ISI and Pakistan…
· I feel sometimes that how do people waste this valuable life in venting ire in such a way that finally they are not alive to see others mourning over the losses….there is no demand and no problems raised ….its hust mayhem and destruction of all the valuable property and gods greatest gift ‘LIFE’

Mumbai has given a platform to everyone to prosper and instead of being opportunistic, people are wasting time and energy in demolishing all these.

This outpour of feelings was instigated by recent terror attack in Mumbai …which people are comparing to 9/11 of America…

Salute to martyrs and abuse to both kinds of terrorists in Mumbai . The dream to see Mumbai as shanghai of India cannot come true in wake of such gruesome events happening again and again…lets pray for “AMchi Mumbai “

Weeked Blast @Mumbai,Dabol,Ratnagiri,Guhagar

It feels so good when we live the life the way it is meant to be lived. Living every moment in such a way that every passing moment says that it was lived more than it expected.

Its 7 days after the glorious weekend we had, but so successful and refreshing it was that every bit of it is still placed in back drop of my memory.

1st October 2008 Wednesday

After too many hiccups Rinkesh finally reached F-902 Cosmos, our home in pune. I wonder  how he manages to goof up so often . This time also he disturbed two flats before  finally reaching our home.

2nd October 2008 Thursday

It started on Thursday morning –thanks to our beloved Bapu .. we got holiday J Our first milestone was supposed to be  Water Kingdom in Mumbai which is the Asia’s  largest water park. We boarded Deccan Queen for Mumbai  and reached Dadar at 10 AM .

Finally we reached Marwar ,from where we were supposed to take the ferry to Esselworld/WaterKingdom .Excitement was at its pick and finally my long cherished wish to visit this place was about to turn into reality. You really need to stay happy based on fulfillment of even such small ,short term wishes.

So clad with our shorts (only shorts) we 5 jumped into the kingdom of water. Everywhere either there were people or water..There were several types of artificial beaches ,but none attracted us as we wanted value for our money. Finally our hunt for thrilling water slide ended and we had 3 Multicoloured slides facing us ..seemed like danger risk and challenge all three combined is waiting for us.

So reluctantly I went upstairs to “get returns for our investments” as per paali, rinkesh, dhote and Shahji. Finally when this seemingly never ending sojourn  on slide came to end ,I was thankful to God that I came out alive out of it. Later, being more fearless I tried my luck in all such slides.

At 5 PM we were almost done with browsing  through  entire kingdom and were ready to go back home. Legs still floating ,hands still waving and heart filled with joy for rest of the evening

3rd October 2008

Next day was MumbaI Darshan by Ankur and raunak Guide and some shopping at Fashion Street or more suitably should be called as Bargain Street

Even before we reached Dabol our Vacations were valued. But little did we know that next two days will be  twice as much fun as previous 2 days…Will update soon, as my lapy ..oops company laapy is discharging and is counting its last breath…

4th October 2008

Dabol/Ratnagiri/Guhagar

At 6 AM our bus reached Dabol. Monika, neha and richin were the first to welcome us .Gupta jee and mitisha were busy in dreaming about ***** and ****** respectively. It was perfect transformation of lifestyle and density of population from Mumbai to Dabol. In Mumbai you won’t find place to land ur feet where as in Dabol u won’t find enough feet. Everybody knows everyone in this small town .There are hardly 70 families residing there and they live like one big family. I could sense  pin drop silence maintained there and sweet kukoo of koyal and chirping of birds spelt magic.

So, amidst beautiful and enchanting  atmosphere we got greeted by Uncle, aunt and bhaiya .We got ready in 3 hrs or so and started off to roam around Dabol. There is a well maintained  recreation club ,Gym Swimming pool and lawn tennis court. It can be called as developed  village of India J

Then we went to Jetty and power plant(RGPPL) .I won’t prove my absence of mind by uttering anything about these places,. as I was overwhelmed with information and I messed it up all. L

Then to Guhagar beach 6 KM from Dabol. A perfect place to relax and chill. Far from city ,far from tensions it’s a delight for heart and soul. At evening it was as sensuous as it can get .Sexy place.

5th October 2008

Next day visited chamunda temple .Then we played cricket in front of Neha’s home .It was great playing after a long gap. in evening we packed our boriya bistar and headed towards PUNE. Reached post mid night …Wonderful 4 days of my life .

Now its Diwali time and celebrations are in full swing.Happy Diwali .
